Rebekah Bloyd enjoys diving into oceans and walking her homelands in California. Her poetry collections are Seabook, Sister Island, Handsome, and At Sea; her work, including essays and creative nonfiction, has been widely published. Central to her practice as a writer and educator are conversations and collaboration with artists near and far, like these hybrid essays resulting from artdotearth symposia, “The Scene Reveals—a film scene linked to the deceased” and “In Dialogue with Water: What Surfaces and Resurfaces.” Beka’s newest collection is Buoyant.
